My First Grave Photograph

I thought I would share my very first grave photograph. I wonder how many times this grave has been photographed?
.

Little did I know when I took this picture in the 70's that I would come to spend a lot of time photographing cemeteries. One day I'll count the thousands of photos I have - after I scan the ones I took before I bought my digital cameras.

Cemetery Cart

When I'm visiting or researching a cemetery I always have a lot of "stuff" that goes with me. I went to an estate sale a few months back and bought this cart for a few dollars. I recently had the opportunity to use it for the first time. I know when summer arrives I will include a small cooler in the bottom and still have all my tools on top.

It moved through the grass with ease and allowed me to work beyond where I parked. I already have plans to have a board cut to size for the top so I'll have a sturdy writing surface. This is a big improvement from my old cart which was half the size.
